My style is warm, creative, and collaborative. I provide affirming care for people from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and the global majority.

Many people come to therapy when outdated strategies start becoming less and less effective. It becomes clear to them that something needs to shift. I often work with individuals who are exploring their identity, going through a life transition, or who want to deepen relationships and improve communication with loved ones. Together, we'll make sense of where you are, identify what's getting in the way, and help you move toward a life that feels more connected, purposeful, and authentic.

I grew up in a small town in rural Georgia. As a child I spent a lot of time in nature and it always provided opportunities to play and something to discover. I got my introduction to these beautiful mountains during a thru-hike in 2013. I immediately fell in love with this area and have lived here ever since.

Prior to starting my private practice, I spent time in residential treatment with adolescents in recovery working with parents of children struggling with severe mental health conditions as well as community mental health in rural communities. I enjoy volunteering and have experience with working with displaced individuals and indigenous women of Guatemala. In this current season of life I’ve been spending time with hospice and other end-of-life care.

Currently I use my free time crafting, gardening, having family tea time and cuddles in bed with my two dogs, as well as, cooking, traveling, and nerding-out about my current fixation topic. I got my start in the therapy industry when I become a Wilderness Therapy Field Guide who worked with adolescents in the backcountry. Living in the forests of north GA gave me an appreciation for a healing that happens in the simplest of settings. It’s powerful when we can harness those moments and build upon them..
